This cup chain making machine starts from a flat calibrated metal strip which is stamped into individual cups and connecting rods.
The assembly process is continuous, producing a chain of open cups ready for stone setting.
For additional strength, a laser welding unit can be integrated to close the prongs and reinforce the structure.
